I wonder how this would affect Arizona, which abandoned daylight savings time some time ago. Will they have to make one permanent switch from standard time?
Arizona would probably go on Pacific time year round-which would mean summer hours would stay the same
Everyone else changes for daylight savings and Az stays stable with what the Mountain time “would be” if the others did not change like they do.
So there should be no change for Az. It will stay mountain time. All the others will be adopting what is normal for Az now.
Hawaii also.
we are Mountain Time in Arizona
been that way my whole life
Good question which I’ve never considered living in AZ. We never changed time.
Not sure if or what the state legislature decides.
As it is today, we’re same as pacific, so for us, 3 time zones....east, central and west.
Salt Lake, however is one hour ahead, as is ABQ, Denver.
I’m guessing we’ll want to sync with Mountain time,
In the summer time, we REALLY want the sun to go down as early as possible.
