Putin is trolling Americans with this nonsense. He is the definition of elite.
Frankly, I think he wants to protect himself as the Dictator of Russia, who's will is the law, and who decides who lives or dies in Russia.
WE already have someone. His name is Donald John Trump.
Like Ahnold, he'll be back.

Meanwhile, assuming that Russia has about 6,000 warheads, and that 2,000 of them don’t work, and that we initiate a first strike and destroy 99% of the rest...he still has 40 to drop on our largest cities. Casualties would be in the millions, and that’s before fallout causes cancer in a lot of the rest and before starvation sets in all across the country.
Best not to dismiss the Russians. They may be very corrupt, but they aren’t stupid.

There is no reason to believe anything coming out of the media or from

Wannabe 1st world power with a second rate economy and large, but second rate military with nuclear weapons. Remove the nuclear weapons threat and this thing would be over in less than a week. Assuming of course the West had the intestinal fortitude to prosecute a conventional war to the limit.
Seems to me that he has a very good grasp of the situation. That is how the deep state operates. The lines aren’t solely national but fundamentally between those who want to be free;sovereign, and those who would see them subjugated to their will. The fight against the sovereignty of nations is not unlike the fight against the people who just want freedom. You can have the debate on how Putin will wage this war but he certainly understands the enemy he’s up against.
