I agree split Russia up into 3 or 4 separate countries to make them less adventurous.
Russia is already conducting a peacekeeping mission in Ukraine.
The problem is there are no natural barriers within Russia other than the Ural mountains. There are plains from the Urals to the English Channel and from the Urals to the Pacific ocean.

Russia drew a line over Belarus & Ukraine not Poland, Romania, Lithuania, Latvia, Albania, Hungary, Czech Republic, Estonia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Slovakia, or Slovenia.

Given Poland’s history, they have zero trust for Russia. If I were in their place, I’d probably feel the same way.

The WWI allies also attacked the “young Soviet state” when WWI ended; were they wrong? If Poland was so anti-Semitic, why were so many Jews living there on the eve of the combined attacks from Hitler and Stalin? If they are so “anti-Ukrainian”, why have most of the current refugees fled to Poland?
