The USSR got to keep Poland itself (and Latvia/Lithuania/Estonia, part of Finland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Albania, Czechoslovakia, and East Germany).
For a war that started to defend an independent Poland (at least officially), it accomplished far less than that...

Yes, USSR controlled all of Warsaw Pact with an iron fist. But my point was that the part of Poland that Stalin got with his deal with Hitler was actually incorporated into the Soviet Union itself (along with the Baltic nations). And while the Baltic nations did get their independence after the fall of the USSR, Poland never got its lost territory back.
