My state of Washington congressional delegation was 7D/2R before, and Tom Foley, D, WA-5 was speaker of the House. After the election, we were 2D/7R and lost the speakership. Norm Dicks (D, WA-6) who survived the Democrat electoral massacre, reportedly gave Diane Feinstein a earful afterwards.
