Then again, the three Trump nominees to the court all are there, because Mitch McConnell had led the effort to get ridnof the Senate filibuster for Supreme Court nominees. If we recall, Schumer was mounting a filibuster against Gorsuch.
It was due to Mitch that they successfully ditched the filibuster at the time of Gorsuch’s nomination, which lowedso all 3 Trump nominees got through.
Im.not saying Mitch McConnell has always done everything exactly as any of us would like. I’m saying that a scorecard of his complete record would reveal some key wins for our side.
