There are folks out there who think that the best solution to the Ukraine crisis – for the folks – is for Zelensky to just throw in the towel and save his people the nightmare of further war with Russia, and part of that group include American pols and blue checks who want to simply put this behind us to get on with what they think is more important business, like sucking up to Iran, and sacrificing to the angry weather goddess. Ukrainians not giving up means the fighting is on TV every night, along with economic pain, and that is hurting their poll numbers, and that’s what counts. The only thing that would make Joe Biden happier than the Ukrainians accepting an armistice leaving Putin in charge of the land he has stolen is a Murder, She Wrote marathon with his pal Corn Pop.

So we should support unending war in Ukraine because it polls badly for the Democrats?
Every few years we have to be reminded that freedom isn’t free.
The only reason we have a republic is that our ancestors fought and died for it. The only way we keep it is if we are willing to do the same.
There is some question of if that will still exists in America, but it clearly does in the hearts of Ukrainians.
The USA, NATO, EU, and a host of NGOs have been pushing weapons up against the belly of Russia for decades. At the same time the bankers from the west have inflicted immense harm on the economy and people of the Ukraine.
All of the media actors and western governments have been painting Russia into a corner.
The adult in the room should carefully consider all of the scenarios before trying to cage the Russian bear.

True. If there is an existential threat to American freedom it’s coming directly from Washington DC, not Russia.
Russia INVADED. There’s such a giant duhh factor to that aspect of looking into this thing.
We are involved in a war, that war is here and every day our country is slipping away, the enemy of the people of the US is currently winning but we must not give up! The war in the Ukraine is for the people of Ukraine and like the war in the US it is hard to get truthful information.

If Ukraine caves and lets Putin put a pro-Russian puppet regime in power, he will go after his next victim--either the Baltic countries, Poland, or Moldova.
What exactly has one to do with the other? Are javelin missiles needed on the southern border? Trump secured the southern border AND sent Ukraine javelin missiles.
Forget the Ukraine. Focus on our own borders.
