If it’s OK for the U.S. to have a Monroe Doctrine, then it should be OK for Russia to have a Putin Doctrine. First of all US doesn't have a Monroe Doctrine anymore. Its also disingenuous to equate US trying to promote democracy to Putin spreading totalitarianism.
