Why doesn’t the NFL just assign coaches where they want them???
Hypothetical: Let’s say we have a dispute between a star minority player and a white NFL coach. A real ‘He said, he said’ and it’s getting acrimonious. The NFL commissioner wants to get to the bottom of what is going on... who does he call? That’s right... he calls the diversity coach. He/she doesn’t really work for the Team... his/her salary is paid by the league. See where this is going? You have a paid spy working on your coaching staff. I should say ‘occupying space’ on your coaching staff because they would actually be allowed to do anything.
