A candidate for governor in Arizona says if elected she'd send armed troops to the border.
Because of the "invasion" of illegal aliens that Joe Biden has allowed under his open borders policies, which is imposed in his attempt to reverse the successes President Trump had seen under his plans to lock down human smuggling operations and build a border wall.
Just the News reported Kari Lake, a Republican endorsed by Trump who is leading the race for Arizona governor, announced she would declare her state is under invasion and send in the troops.
She announced her plans in an interview with the Just the News TV show on Real America's Voice.
Biden announced the cancelation of Trump's security measures immediately when he took office. Since then, the crisis has deepened as hundreds of thousands of foreigners, attracted to America because of its economy, jobs, welfare and more, have arrived at the southern border.
That's about to get worse, too, even Biden has admitted, as the Title 42 health regulation the Trump administration instituted during the COVID-19 pandemic is expected to go away.
"We already have a tsunami at our border with this invasion," but that expected move will make it much worse, she told Just the news.

You would think states should have the right to protect their borders from invasion. Someone else speak for me legally what states can or cannot do in this matter but I think she is spot on and hope she legally can put troops on the border.
Didn’t Jan brewer try doing this too and got excoriated for it and defeated?
The current Gov. of AZ and AG and legislature assisted in the Big Steal to get the invasion going again.
Bush League Republicans have been keeping the border open and the laws unenforced for 30 years.
BOTH parties cheated Trump out.
That was long ago (ancient history in political terms)
No one was screaming this much about illegals back then.

Kari Lake is a political newcomer, but was a high profile member of the media for many years. Until she resigned in disgust a couple of years ago. I do not think that resignation was a political move, but time will tell
So far she has ticked all the right boxes and is my preferred candidate. And is a fighter, just watch some of her TV interviews, even with old colleagues.
But since there is no political track record, that vote is hers to lose at this point. In the same manner Trump’s was in early 2016

I saw her nine days ago in Prescott and Kari Lake is the real deal. She was adamant about sending armed Arizona National Guardsmen to the border.
Her lead in the polls is like 28% over the next candidate.
How is markelly giffords polling? I hope he’s drowning.

No, I think Brewer was term limited out.
Brewer has endorsed one of Lake’s opponents, Karin Taylor Robson who comes from a very politically connected family.

Yeah I didn’t like the direction brewer took later. She was a disappointment. I’m trying to recall,what she got in Obama face over- I had hopes,for her being a tough conservative at that point, but it didn’t last long

I still like my 100 yards of mine fields along the entire border and putting up bleachers and betting booths at selected sites... this would solve 2 problems:
1. Alerts CBP to where illegals are crossing through sound and visual aids.
2. Eliminates the need for a wall and what that wall signifies to the lefties.
Placing bets at all bleacher sites would provide daily entertainment and anyone who actually makes it across can be provided the funds of all those who bet against them.
