Special Report’s Bret Baier interviewed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Friday evening, touching on a wide variety of topics, including what a victory looks like for Ukraine and what Putin is hoping to achieve.
Baier asked the Ukrainian leader at the start of the interview how he believes the "war will end" prompting an explanation from Zelenskyy that only "victory" will be acceptable to his country.

Where are the adults?! Where are the diplomats working behind the scenes to lower the tensions here? This guy Zelensky is way out of his league. Surely a deal can be made here that will forestall total nuclear war. Right??
If The Ukraine is going to try and drive the Russians out of its terriroty, then the second phase of this war is going to be as pointless and bloody as was the first.
Yeah he is talking crap. I think Putin is taking what he wants but is giving up what he has to. Listening to all this crap talk. If he wanted to he could sit home and bomb them.
Its a very odd thing, this personalization of a whole country. A tv show analysis of leaders.
1. This guy is not his country. Ukraine is a real entity of 40+ million people, not a tv show.
2. This guy has to deliver a message to a whole mess of different people with different worldviews and agendas. Most of those people are not like you and wont react like you do.
3. This guy has an agenda that differs from yours, in various ways and to various degrees on different points.
Frankly I find commentary like yours simplistic and disappointing.
What he says is interesting due to the insight into the situation at hand. This has to be analyzed on several levels. Messaging (to whom, for what purpose, expected reception), Strategic (what does he want to receive, why x is particularly necessary), Implications (expectations, plans and fears on the part of Ukrainian leadership).
Let's address the biggest lie up front: Zelenskyy is NOT A NAZI. He's a former bad comedian, certainly has corruption issues of his own, and often can be irritating in how much he asks other countries. BUT HIS COUNTRY WAS UNJUSTLY INVADED AND HIS PEOPLE ARE BEING MURDERED.
I want Ukraine to give Putin a black eye, then address their AZOV battalions out east, turn tables on their partners in corruption in the west. I'll take two out of three.
I'm sure a bunch of FReepers will now spew their bile at me. That's OK, you're so messed up in the head that you don't realize how bad you make yourself look. Putin has outright said that he wants the USSR reformed, FFS.
