Ukrainians have shared pictures of a burning Russian fighter jet they say was shot out of the sky in the Kharkiv region as Putin's forces continue to take heavy damages.
Photos from the scene remains of Russian fighting aircraft Su-35 believed to have been hit by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
It is understood the plane was shot down by the anti-aircraft missile troops of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who shared footage of the incident online.
The Su-35, a hi-tech fighter jet worth an estimated £30million, was reduced to rubble. It is understood the plane was shot down in the Kharkiv region of the country.
Deputy Interior Minister Anton Gerashchenko confirmed the Su-35 was shot down by Ukrainian forces, reportedly writing: '50 million dollars worth of damage for the ogres!'
Gerashchenko reported that the pilot ejected and tried to escape, but was subsequently detained.

The pilot is lucky to have survived. I understand ejecting out of a jet at probably a low altitude isn’t the safest thing there is.
But safer than crashing.
Not “state of the art,” rather state of past art.

The salient fact is that the Russians are now using 4th generation aircraft against the Ukrainians and losing them.
Putin isn’t long for this world. He’s shown that the Russian military is a paper tiger. Their equipment is crap. Their troops are crap. Their doctrine is crap. Their entire country is a tissue of lies.

Looks like they downsized their army a lot since the end of the Cold War.
If it could be proven that guys like this one dropped bombs on buildings full of women and kids INTENTIONALLY (following orders is no excuse) he should be hung to the nearest light post.
China needs to understand that. Even their vaunted J-20
would have its ass handed to it by a new F-16.
That should buff right out.
Taiwan has 141 F-16 A/B with 66 F-16 C/D on order.
Is that really a Russian flight suit that one wear in a super-sonic fighter airplaine>
Ukes at it again with POW humiliation photos like Iranians, ISIS, the North Vietnamese, Saddam and other messed up places do.
And the Chinese are saying:
“If the Ukranians can do this to Russia, think what the US can do to us... No wait! We have Joe and Hunter.”
“4th Russsian Generation.”
And it was knocked out of the sky by an opponent who isn’t even 3rd Russian generation.
