Bashing Trump and his supporters isn’t a winning strategy. I know guys like Sununu and Hogan dream that they can get positive media coverage, but the second they get nominated, they’ll be destroyed - and lose the base in the process. They never learn.

“They never learn.”

No, they don’t. But, they might still get invited to some of the parties, which — to them — is what really counts.

These Republicans make up most of Washington and the state level leadership. They are liberals who don’t have the courage to admit what they are and or would rather stay in the GOP as a fifth column causing tremendous damage in the process. They are corrupt riff-raff despite what they portray themselves and there are a few on FR who are still stuck up these traitors rear ends because they are of course Republicans.

Neither could ever get nominated, if it were a fair primary, I guess I should add. But you are right, they would destroy him right out of the gate. On top of that, the Democrat would win because many Republicans would not vote at all.

But their base in NH and MD don’t care. I know a number of republicans in MD and they LOVE Hogan. He’s nice, you see. NH and MD are not Alabama or Oklahoma.
