I hope he does take over the board and that the new boards first act is to reinstate all the suspended conservatives.
Most especially Trump!
As long as his shares remain Passive and under 10% there is no way he can take over the board - or at least that’s what the financial shows seemed to say this morning.
It will be interesting to see how this shakes out by the end of the week.
He doesn’t need 10% if he controls 42% in proxy votes of new small shareholders who buy in for this specific purpose.
I’m sure talk at Twitter HQ is more interesting this morning.
9 percent is a big enough stake to get the boards attention and he can tender for more
It’s significant
It’s impossible to acquire a majority stock ownership through market purchases
I’d imagine majority is institutionally owned
A shot over the bow for sure
Musk now owns four times Dorsey shares
Plenty folks on boards with less than 9%
Well said
It’s amazing how much of tech is exec populated by foreigners
Pakis
Indians
Iranians
All leftists they have zero appreciation for western individualism
Musk is worth 100 times his Twitter stake
Doesn’t sound like that’s it
He’s been pretty public he’s unhappy with Parag
if he controls 42% in proxy votes

Is that a fact or an assumption? Just asking.
With 73.5 million shares and shares soar 28% at this rate he can buy more and own it before to long he hates the way they operate and wants to change it.
Hope he wins it would help dry some dark money for the democrats in elections.
don’t understand how this works. If he owned 50.1%, I get it, but not 9%.
Gotta start somewhere
I have the utmost respect for Dennis Nunes but I don’t think putting a farmer in charge of your Tech company is a good idea! Darrel Issa would have been a better pick with the right experience.
Recently, Musk had said in tweets that he is giving serious thought to creating a social media platform because Twitter is “failing to adhere to free speech principle." “Given that Twitter serves as the de facto public town square, failing to adhere to free speech principles fundamentally undermines democracy," Musk tweeted.
First day on the job, the appropriate first move would be, an autonomous Robocop would enter the boardroom, dragging Jack Dorsey behind it, and throw him through the window, followed by the entire board.
Elon is our brother in arms........ Developing. Some great Monday news. Developing.
Defenestration works for me
Whoa.
That’s from January.
As at now, Musk is the biggest single shareholder in Twitter.
See my poet # 14.
When all is said and done - it might be Elon Musk who saves the American democracy. God bless him.
Of course. It was clearly marked. We already had the Musk news. Jeesh!
Very interesting.
Gotta start somewhere.
