Socialised Healthcare: Cancer Waiting Time Targets Missed in 98% of NHS England Areas

The socialised healtchare system in England failed to meet its own cancer waiting time target in 98 per cent of areas, analysis has revealed.

Only two of the 107 areas in England covered by the National Health System (NHS) met the cancer waiting time target set out by NHS ENgland, which states that no more than fifteen per cent of people who revieced an urgent warning should have to wait more than two months to begin treatment.

The analysis of government figures, conducted by Sky News, found that only Bolton and Calderdale, both in West Yorkshire, actually met the target, meaning that people in 98 per cent of areas covered by the socialised healthcare system had their lives put at risk by delays.

The report went on to say that the problem of long waiting times for cancer patients was exacerbated by the Chinese coronavirus crisis, with nearly twice as many people waiting over two months to recieve treatment compared to before the pandemic. In 2022, the number of people forced to wait over two months trippled compared to ten years ago.

However, the problem of the NHS failing to meet its own targets has been longstanding, according to the news outlet, which reported that the standard of 15 per cent has not been met in England as a whole in any month since 2014.

The damning analysis follows the publication of a report by the Health and Social Care Committee in the House of Commons, which found that the socialised healthcare system in England remains well below other comparable countries in terms of outcomes for cancer patients.

According to the parliamentary committee, only 58.9 per cent of those diagnosed with colon cancer in England survive for at least five years, compared to 66.8 per cent in Canada, and

The NHS is the UK’s largest employer, public or private.

Wonder what percentage of that over one million people actually sees patients...

From last September...

Fury as UK's top doctor says patients will 'GET USED' to not seeing their GP face-to-face - as he admits many now only work three days a week

Clap for carers!

If you have a medical problem over there you have to get approval for each step of the process.

We had a friend over there that died of bladder cancer because even though the doctor had scoped the bladder, he couldnt take the biopsy at that time because it was not approved. Guy had to wait 6 months for approval and by that time it was to late. Then had to wait another 6 months for approval for the removal of the bladder and by that time...

I didn't. I was diagnosed with bowel cancer after a colonoscopy (which my GP had referred me for 2 weeks before after being concerned about my rapidly falling blood iron levels), was in surgery 3 weeks later. Then I had boot and braces chemotherapy for 8 months after, as it had spread to local lymph nodes.

That was 6 years ago.

Every use of NHS services, from my father's stroke to my son's birth and my mother's illness has been exemplary and quick. Sorry if that's off-message.

The exception that proves the rule. Everyone doesn’t have the same experience and that’s not the point. Here in the US I have been given long wait times to see a doctor, and in those cases I just find a different doctor because it is specific to that doctor, not the system.

Every doctor is competing with every other doctor, although the Democrats are working mightily to change that to one system so it can be under their thumb.

Then it will be “free” and still not worth what you pay at the point of service because Democrats defile anything they can’t destroy.
