Has anyone stopped to consider what police are like in third-world ***holes?
Even for California this is bizarre. I'd like to believe they didn't think this through but I fear they did. They actually did.

There is a huge temptation to think that this is just the Dems pandering to two of their constituencies (illegals and suburban Karens), but if one pauses to ask “cui bono?” you have to wonder.

Forget, for a moment, about the armed force. Just consider the investigatory power given to law enforcement in California. With a few taps at a keyboard, just about everything about a person is an open book. Where you live, what cars you own, what guns you might have, any restraining orders, criminal history, you name it. How long would it take China, say, to have agents hired at California police agencies?

They’re crazy, but crazy like a fox.
