GOOD EVENING, TIGERHAWK, AND SHAVUAH TOV TO YOU. I AM WELL.
HAS SPRING SPRUNG AT YOUR HOUSE?
HEY, KATHY,
Spring arrived one day a couple of weeks ago. The air was warm, moist, with that sweet scent and fullness of Spring that filled and nourished the lungs. It was wonderful.
Then it left the next day and hasn’t really returned yet.
Grey, rainy, chilly (but no longer cold), what my wife and I call “SCOTTISH”...we lived there for quite a few years and were very disappointed to find out that the “Romantic Scottish Mist” is what the rest of us call “Drizzle”. I remember a headline in the newspaper (The Scotsman, IIRC...which figures) “HEAT WAVE! 77 DEGREES!” As da prez sez, “I’m not joking! Am I joking? Joking about what? Who are you? Where?...”
Anyway, all the snow’s gone (except for what I keep in the freezer for emergencies) and “mud season” was hardly noticeable, but there’s lots of “Spring Cleaning” needs to be done. Two trees came down that need cutting up (only lost a bird feeder...which I only put up to amuse the cats).
Glad my chainsaws still work...even more glad that I decided that I DON’T! There comes a time when you realize that you ought not do that sort of stuff anymore. Happened sudden...a few days ago, I was just 18.
I’m sure you know what I mean.
So, we’re still waiting for Spring at TigerHawk Hollow.
Any sight of it in Alaska?
Keep the Faith.
