Actually, I’m more interested in why Putin was honoring the massacred Polish officers. Based on what I’ve read here and the media, shouldn’t Putin be CELEBRATING the ‘Great Achievement’ and having a national holiday instead?

Polish nationalists also deny that any Poles collaborated with the Nazis during World War 2 and that has incensed Israel and caused controversy between Poland and Israel in the past.
Poland has even criminalized writing about the notion that Polish people collaborated with the Nazis during World War 2.
