I get that you are convinced. I am not. We have no understanding about the wheels within wheels, the favors called in the horse trading. Who was paid or induced to play a role & then turn? If you want to micromanage and call the plays you ought to run for office. At that point at least you might understand the field of play.
Trump is used to situations where you hire the person for a project as the best match of skills and experience. For the next project you hire a different team, suited for that project. People deliver or they don’t and are cut. Neither POTUS nor, I think, you, have experience where paid saboteurs are positioned and insinuated. Actors can be very convincing especially when pushed by the establishment who is preventing you from hiring people that would be effective.
Have you forgotten that many resumes of pro Trump people were destroyed, sidelined never presented. It was a scandal the press sidelined.
DeSantis appears to be a solid citizen. You do him no favors by pushing him in this manner. He is a natural candidate for 2028 but is not a serious candidate for 2024. His support is a mile wide & an inch deep, untested on the National stage against engaged opponents. He is more likely to be destroyed as a future candidate by premature Presidential candidacy than to win in 2022. He has not proven himself in these waters. With Trump behind him in 2028 he stands a good chance.
Trump has properties in NJ, non issue. It depends on what ticket Trump thinks has the best chance of electing a make America Great/Safe etc President.

DeSantis has demonstrated the ability to wield a fully sharpened blade of confrontation to these Media types. Are you saying that they’ll do another Deep State attack like they did with Trump?

Do you have a source? It sounds like an interesting theory. And, absent evidence, it is just that: a theory. But it wouldn’t surprise me.
The links will be difficult to unearth 5 years down the road but it was more than a theory. The internet has been politicized and the truth is hard to uncover because of manipulation.

The primary write is Hoft’s twin who spoke to the official and submitted a resume. There were others who said the same think at the time and there was finger pointing at Pence staff for keeping people who had a MAGA outlook out of staff positions. I believe Bannon weighed in.
IMO it is too late to interrogate the question since the truth is malleable these days.
Why should DeSantis accept the VP nomination? It offers him nothing he hasn’t already earned by his excellent governance of Florida. He needs to run in 2024 and if he loses to DJT so be it. It will give him massive exposure and make him a stronger candidate in 2028.
Trump going the name calling route on DeSantis the way he did on Cruz will not work and it could backfire. After all what is Trump going to criticize DeSantis for?
I’ll vote for DJT if he’s the candidate without hesitation, but DeSantis is the better leader.
