lol… Believe me, that book is not when you would read the little kids. I was about 10 when I read it, and it was pretty nightmarish. The entire first half of the book is devoted to this miniaturized human learning to survive in a completely alien hostile world in his own estate garden. The second half Is concerned with what happens when you meet up with a Russian agent that was miniaturized as well and his team of assassins…

For example one brief, fabulous, rainbow summer, the mosquito swamps will be like the San Francisco Tenderloin District.
IMHO gene drives should only be used in the most extreme of circumstances. If altered animals get back to their native habitat it could mean extinction. Take out too many species from an ecosystem you could be inviting environmental collapse.
