I guess they’ve forgotten about Kosovo in the 1990s. They wanted independence from Albania and even had a referendum in 1991 with 98% in favor of it. Albania ignored the vote. Then America suddenly took up their cause in 1999 and started bombing Albania. And just like that, Kosovo was free.

It’s weird that the Donbass also voted for independence from Ukraine with 96% in favor, but the West claimed it wasn’t a valid referendum, unlike Kosovo’s vote. They ignored the suffering in the Donbass for 8 years, even though 14,000 ppl were killed, mostly Russian speaking civilians and over 250 children.

Our government apparently only cares about helping victims when they’re useful to them, no matter how much they tell us otherwise.
