Pennsylvania Senate Votes To Ban Drop Boxes & 'Zuckerbucks’ in time for the 2022 and 2024 elections

The Pennsylvania state Senate passed legislation on Wednesday prohibiting ballot drop boxes and private funds used to manage elections.

By a narrow margin of 29-20, the chamber advanced Senate Bill 1200 to eliminate the use of drive-through ballot returns. The revised election code will “require an elector choosing to return a ballot to a county board of elections, return it to an employee.”

However, the employee whom the voter chooses must be “located in the county seat of the county board of elections.”

Moreover, if a constituent cannot submit the ballot personally, the board of elections will grant an absentee ticket to an authorized representative designated by the balloter. Furthermore, if the elector cannot obtain an approved appointee, the county will provide one or petition a judge to nominate a deputy as an acting substitute.

The Senate’s decision arrives almost two years after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled in favor of extending the state’s 2020 deadline to vote by mail and the utilization of drop boxes.

With bipartisan support, the plenum agreed to prohibit private investments from influencing election procedures. Thus, “Zuckerbucks” are now forbidden in the Keystone State. Elections are typically funded by the government using tax dollars, but that wasn’t the case in 2020. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg contributed millions of dollars across the nation to fund election operations through CTCL.

A report released by Rep. Claudia Tenney, R-N.Y., revealed that the “vote-generating group,” primarily funded by the tech billionaire, gave 90 percent of its dollars to blue counties in swing states. Pennsylvania received over 20 million dollars from the group backed by Zuckerburg.

This is good but the governor is a Democrat and may not sign the law.

MAY not??? LOL.

Try “no chance in hell”. Even if our beloved Governor were a Republican instead of a Communist, and signed the law, the PA Democrat Supreme Court would overturn it faster than you can blink. In this case, they definitely won’t need to go to the trouble.

Still no Zuckerbucks , right, at least by his previous conspirators? Who’s going to pay the mules this time?

29 to 20 is a "narrow margin"?

It is obvious where the writer's sympathies lie.

The Republicans should offer a deal. Democrats want a new 2000 stimulus. Give them this for the non veto of this bill.

This is what loser Republicans (AKA “The Stupid Party”) do when they own the legislatures but not the executive. They pass aggressive and conservative-sounding bills that they KNOW will never be enacted, so they can all sit around a table together puffing cigars and sipping single malt scotch, smiling at how they can tell their constituents about the ways they are “fighting” for them.

When they DO get into power, they suddenly grow timid and only work to “take us to socialism a little more slowly”.

Not enough to override

No way in hell Wolf will sign the bill.

It may not matter.
There is enough votes to override any veto from the governor on "Zuckerberg money".
From Frontpage:

"The ballot drop box ban passed the chamber on a 29-20 party-line vote.

The measure barring the use private money to pay for election operations passed by a bipartisan 37-12 vote, with eight Democrats joining their GOP counterparts and independent colleague in supporting the bill.

Both measures now go to the state House of Representatives for consideration.”

They need to get rid of Act 77, the unConstitutionally passed, universal mail in balloting.

The departure Bookovar seemed contrived to me; any idea if something is going to slip out on her election fraud involvement?

Put every drop box under 24/7 surveillance from the time it’s placed until the election is over. You don’t need manpower, just park a car in sight of it and put a camera on the dash.

Review the video every night to identify the high traffic mules and then publish their picture. Bringing rats into the light of day sends them scurrying.

...and what happens when BLM fireworks the camera car (possible) or the city tows it to the impound lot (likely). This is Philly we’re talking about. Anything a city judge is willing to permit will be considered ‘legal’ no matter how shady.

Passing something knowing full well it’ll be vetoed and then saying, “live to fight another day” just doesn’t cut it anymore!

The only way to fix this is to eventually get the Supreme court fixed via a regional demographic taking away the dominance of the cities. In the meantime they can change via constitutional amendment which will take 2 years. Not sre if they started with the amendments. Not the best way to go. but it works when the corruption is this big. Also already the judges are stating in decisions that any changes to the voting laws are racist because blacks are more dependent than whites. Brochures cost money, education of changes cost money and blacks have less money so changes are racist.

And her "acting" replacement was chosen for having the same qualifications characteristics as Kamala and KBJ: Ovaries and melanin.

She was with ACORN or some other GOTV outfit in NC.
