FWIW, I returned to Chicago last Friday from Hilton Head via
Charlotte. I did not wear a mask in any of the airports and I was not hassled at all. People looked at me as if I was strange, but that’s their problem. In fact, I walked right in front of three Chicago cops and was totally ignored.

Of course, I was forced to wear a mask on the two flights, but they were short flights.

I flew at the beginning of January and had a very nice young lady next to me. We talked most of the 1 hour 45 minutes with no masks and the Southwest flight attendants didn't bother us one bit. I was shocked.

I just took the same flight this morning. Maybe 3% of the people at the Spokane airport wore masks. Then I got to San Jose, CA and it looks like 30% to 40% of people in the terminal were wearing the damn things. People are still scared silly in this California utopia.

Powerline Blog ran this article yesterday "Maskaholics anonymous" with this great chart that shows masks are useless. Nothing but theater. There are 11 states that never had a mask mandate and 39 states that did. Zero difference in results.
