Not in agreement. Vlad has already won.

There is no way he has won, and there is no way he can win.

Russia is and was a weak country economically, and it's the economy of a country that determines the ultimate strength of its military. A weak country cannot hold onto its territories for long. The people of the territory(ies) will look for self-government or assistance from others or will allow themselves to be taken by others. Russia is in a losing proposition. Russia cannot win, even if they are successful in Ukraine.

Russia is awash in cash and commodities and after 80 years of western economic warfare on it is largely immune to embargoes and sanctions. They make EVERYTHING themselves. We are pathetically dependent on the Middle East and China for our survival. Russia can turn the gas taps off and sink the EU any time she wants and the rise in gas prices from her other customers will more than cover the loss. The ruble is stronger now than before the sanctions too-that should tell you something. This economic nuclear option the west is engaged through psychopathic mental midgets like Nuland and Blinken is a ridiculous pipe dream that’s going to blow up in our faces in autumn. Even the UK and EU are admitting it.

No way Putin has won. He has wasted incredible amounts of his military, what had not already been destroyed by corruption and neglect. He has repeated the big mistake of Afghanistan—acting so brutally that he has created a generation and decades of hate. Maybe he will hold on to some of the oil/gas land he was aiming for, but at what cost??? The NATO alliance has been strengthened, and NATO countries will probably now pay their share for military costs.
