Depends on who you ask or listen to. Like all things these days, there are two opposing “truths”. DailyMailUK makes it sound like Ukraine is kicking ass and taking names. Col MacGregor says Ukraine is about done for. I trust no one these days and will wait and see. All I know is Zelensky wants more money and weapons.

On February 27, Col. Macgregor said this:

The battle in eastern Ukraine is "almost over" with Ukrainian troops there largely "surrounded and cut off," Macgregor said, adding that if they don't surrender in the next 24 hours, "I suspect that the Russians will ultimately annihilate them."

Col. Macgregor said they were "surrounded and cut off" almost two months ago.

It seems Col. Macgregor has not been very accurate.

Notice: Macgregor did not say "Mariupol". He said "Eastern Ukraine".
