A 6-year-old boy in Connecticut has been hospitalized with second- and third-degree burns after his family said a bully covered a tennis ball with gasoline, lit it on fire and threw it at his face.
The incident unfolded Sunday afternoon when Dominick Krankall was playing in the backyard of his family’s Bridgeport home on Louisiana Avenue with other children who live near them.
Preliminary reports indicate that up to four unattended children were seen playing with gasoline and lighting objects on fire the day of the incident, the Bridgeport Office of Emergency Management said in a statement.
Dominick’s sister told NBC New York her brother was playing in the backyard when "the bully called his name and lured him over around the corner."
"In a matter of seconds he came back around the corner screaming, saying, ‘Mommy, they lit me on fire,’” the sister, Kayla Deegan, said, according to the news station.

Its getting to the point guessing ain’t necessary.
Unfortunately the bully’s parents will not be held accountable, let alone the bully himself. The only way to deal with a bully is to inflict pain.
When I was in 6th grade a big fat 5th grader stole my bike and was riding it in front of me, taunting and laughing. I knew who he was, he knew who I was, he was gettin’ away with it only due to the fact I was smaller than him. I warned him, twice.
Then I jumped in the air to use my momentum and potential energy against him and kicked him off my bicycle. It worked better than I had planned. He started crying, he ran to his parents who simply weren’t listening when both he and I said he had stolen my bicycle and I warned him. I couldn’t figure it out at that time why they couldn’t see what was blatantly obvious.
Oh well, it became useful that around my school, kids knew that I stood up to him because he was known as a bully — even his brother in my grade had nothing to say.
When the law won't act, people do........................

i went to summer camp in the bridgeport area with a girl with surname of krankall although i would be surprised if she were living in bridgeport with a 6 year old—although certainly possible. That area is not ghetto, but it’s not so great either. The kid is white, so you never know......

Playing with gasoline and lighting objects on fire was a rite of passage when I was young and stupid. But not lighting other kids on fire.
Perps’ punishment should be the same thing they did to this kid.
This kind of bullying exceeds pushing a younger kid off the curb. This kind of malicious hatred is only being programmed into a certain demographic.
Just making assumptions. Could be wrong.
My God, this is sad. Let’s pray the boy recovers with no long-term effects.

Reading through the article I didn’t see anything about the father of either the 8 year old bully or 6 year old victim.

Yep. We called ourselves pyros when we were kids but we weren’t really. We were fascinated by fire until we weren’t, and went on to the next thing. We lit things on fire. Not people or animals. Anyone who would throw a burning object at the face of another child should, at the very least, be sent for psychological examination. Sounds like a burgeoning sociopath to me.

I read somewhere that the victim was a little white kid, but I haven’t read anything about the perps, which in today’s environment speaks volumes, and pretty much identifies the perps, at least as to race.

The thing that did this to this little boy cannot be allowed to stay in society. If it’s evil enough to do this at this age just think what the useless piece of crap will do when he’s older.
