"I'm pretty close to a First Amendment absolutist," Obama told his audience and then spent the rest of the hour proving he is anything but. In fact, the Obama that emerges in this speech is one scary dude.

The one sentence that most alarmed me began thusly, "The way I'm going to evaluate any proposal touching on social media and the internet is whether it strengthens or weakens the prospects for a healthy, inclusive democracy."

"The way I'm going to evaluate?" Obama failed to explain in what capacity he gets to evaluate anything. Does he expect to head the FCC or get appointed to the Supreme Court? Does he plan to engineer a Michelle Obama presidential bid? If any of these happens, God help us all.

The thrust of his speech was that "regulation has to be part of the answer" in combating online "disinformation." As Obama made much too clear he and his pals get to determine what is and is not disinformation.

"The way I'm going to evaluate?" Sadly, there are plenty o folks out there that actually may value his 'evaluation' of something. Thinkin' they love being lied to. His screed is a believable as him declaring he broke is choom buddies nose over a racial comment. Uh, obxxx, we saw you throw a baseball. No doubt we're stuck with him for a long time.

Obama is a ventriloquist and his dummy is in the White House, that’s how he will make changes.

It’s Stanford. As in, Kalifornia? His speech is safe there. All the little nazis in attendance are already well versed in the party’s agenda.

the moment 0bama was elected, the US started circling the drain. Clinton was planned to be the final nail in the coffin, and that is why Trump was hated so much, he delayed the final push to destroy the country. Now, the job of killing the US is left up to Biden and his stringpullers.

:: regulation has to be part of the answer ::

Without the imprimatur of Legislation behind it, it is unenforceable and has no teeth.
Once the legislation is attached, it will found unConstitutional.

Fear porn.

“The way I’m going to evaluate...” could merely mean “Here’s how I go about thinking about this...” It might not be sinister.

What IS sinister is all the Dems and libs proposing federal regulation of speech in reaction to Musk taking over Twitter and Biden’s proposal to create MiniTru.

But, then again, it IS Obama.

“I’m pretty close to a First Amendment absolutist”

What else would a world class liar lead off a speech endorsing censorship with?

It’s not a lie. He is a First Amendment absolutist — he absolutely doesn’t believe that the First Amendment should get in the way of his Marxist goals at all.

Obama was never eligible to be President.

He was born a British subject and a Kenyan national, even iof born in Hawaii.

He is not a natural born citizen.

No one born with more than ONE nationality is a natural born citizen.

Lol! It’s amusing how the left were all screaming, “They’re private companies! They aren’t bound to the first amendment! You can’t do anything to them.” when all the Social Media companies were run by liberals and suppressing conservative views. But the minute Elon Musk buys Twitter, not the left is all for Government control of Social Media.

"Obama is a ventriloquist and his dummy is in the White House, that’s how he will make changes."

I always thought that Obama was a dummy and someone else was his ventriloquist.
