Morgan: “You can’t cancel me!”
But can he self-cancel?

This was the dopiest show opening I’ve ever seen. Trying to sandbag Trump had to be pitched to him, right?

I could see him pitching it.
He’s a pompous jerk.
I hope he gets it someday the way Jim Everett went after the jerk Jim Rome.

Why do Republicans ever agree to be interviewed by the press without making their own recordings? Of course the press will edit, mismatch questions and answers, pretend they aren’t recording to get gotcha videos, and a hundred other tricks. But still the stupid party doesn’t learn. Fortunately Trump plays this game in multiple dimensions.

Morgan no doubt had an idea of what it meant, at least as to how he would apply to himself.
And it may in fact be he who applies it to himself.

AKA Fox News Corp. Sez it all when it comes to trying to sandbag Trump.
Fox News, the Murdoch's and their wives absolutely hate Trump.

I suspect Trump has achieved much more respect over the last
15 months, even outside the nation.
Biden, not so much...
Obama, likewise > IMO...

Morgan was chased out of Britain. They couldn’t stand him.
He’s an ahole. He’s not an American citizen either.

When you have a big name on your first show, it's reasonable to expect lower numbers for the 2nd or 3rd show. Did they really expect that the show could keep "Trump as guest" numbers when Trump was not the guest?
Is an audience of 123,000 below expectations for this show?

Yup. One thing that Trump has pointed out to news organizations and politicians on both sides of the aisle is the difference between faux popularity And the real thing.
