Some of America's most highly regarded teachers are speaking out against Florida's "Parental Rights in Education" bill, and a growing number of LGBTQ teachers and allies across the country are worried about the impact this and similar legislation could have on students [3-7 age].

I speak of the 1980-90s "Day-Care Sex-Abuse Hysteria" that swept the US (and elsewhere) with accusations based upon very little physical evidence but much 'testimony' from 3-7 yo CHILDREN with lots of psychological terms like 'repressed memory' & 'recovered memory' ALLOWED in criminal courts and used for CRIMINAL CONVICTIONS!
Frequently referred to as the "Satanic Panic" and the McMartin Preschool Cases, much of the 'evidence' derived from prosecution efforts to get usable testimony from these very young children/victims using what has since become extremely controversial means! Indeed, a 2008 Harvard Magazine article "Repressed Memory", cited a study by Professor of Psychiatry Harrison Pope, co-director of the Biological Psychiatry Lab at Harvard-affiliated McLean Hospital & colleagues [Psychological Medicine] that sought historical & contemporary valid cases of "an inability to recall a traumatic experience at one point and the subsequent recovery of that memory." Even with an offer of $1,000, no such valid case was presented after a 3 language/30 country publicity campaign.
Yet some of these prosecutors never looked back and prospered! Bill Clinton's 3rd pick for US Attorney General, Janet Reno, achieved much 'fame' for her prosecution of the Miami-Dade "Country Walk Babysitting Service" that convicted 4 people to prison terms. It can be wondered if her attitudes from that case carried into the 1993 Waco, TX prosecution and disaster of the Branch Davidians?
Key stat: In the 1990s & 2000s, almost (1 prior abuser still in prison) EVERY convicted person was exonerated or released, mostly by the prosecutors & courts that convicted them! Many have remarked on the resemblance to earlier historical abuses triggered by 'hysteria', such as Salem Witch Trials.
All of the above is a lengthy plea to REMEMBER HISTORY! Experts are frequently NOT! Young children are easily manipulated! In future histories, will this be regarded as the same? I fear/hope so!
Three-to-seven year olds?! C'mon!
And parents are worried about the impact these LGBTQ teachers are trying to put on their children...

If sexual content is NOT being taught in K - 3rd grade, then banning its discussion and teaching should NOT be a problem. Why the big stink about it? This lead me to think they are lying about sexual content NOT being taught and there is evidence they are lying.

The college major that traditionally attracts the lowest GPA, laziest and most poorly educated students is, of course, education.
Certainly, there are some good ones, but the vast majority rely on the teachers’ unions to run interference for them and keep them employed when parents challenge them.
The only good thing about this situation is that some scrutiny is being given to sex abuse stats among public school teachers…which are shocking and way higher than that of clergy of any denomination.

What ultimately counts is voting power and parents probably have much more voting power than LGBQ teachers and teaching unions.

It remains that parents and union members have one vote each, at least by law.
But in rough comparison of the voting power of parents versus unions, combined voting power of teacher's union members, about 4 million, doesn't come close to Trump's red tsunami of 74+ million patriot voters.
