It is about time that American companies stop appeasing the slave-working, fentanyl exporting, female trafficking, trade cheating China.

Liberty.
Stumbling block for the “post-national” governments.

The news that Sony apparently declined to make the edits comes after years in which Hollywood studios have acceded to various requests by Chinese censors in order to distribute movies in that country. Most recently, Warner Brothers removed dialogue referencing a gay relationship in Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore in the version released in China.NR making a moral equivalence between refusing not to show the Statue of Liberty and censoring dialogue of a homosexual relationship. NR is yet another part of the problem with our media today.

National Review should change their name to Log Cabin Review.

Disney probably would have deleted it in 10 seconds and replaced it with a giant statue of Mao

The latest Spider-Man was pretty good.
With multiverse scenarios it was fun.

I suspect that in 2022, Sony might own that Statue too. Came with the deal to own Jeopardy and Wheel.

So Biden’s disinformation planning & control board has a new enemy in Sony. Nice. Mike Rowe too.

Sony is not even an American company. You are right. My mistake. I keep thinking of Sony Entertainment HQ in New York.
But the parent is Sony Group in Japan.

The government of Communist China wants to censor the Statue of Liberty? Why stop there? Censor them completely from all imagery from the West.

…the edits comes after years in which Hollywood studios have acceded to various requests by Chinese censors in order to distribute movies in that country. Zuckernerd and his cronies looked at this and thought it was a great idea.
