Oh, that's not such a big deal in this circumstance. It's easy enough to imagine that the words used were among those that several of the commenters here use pretty much every day.

I’m rather sure it’s something like that rather than an outright n-word type thing.

Regardless, what cracks me up about this story is that the fraternity clearly has an ongoing prank about supporting the women’s lacrosse team. Probably a form of hazing.

Unfortunately, without knowing what specifically was said, it's difficult to know whether the comments really were "racist" or just a violation of some arbitrary PC code.

It must have been extra-bad double-racist if they had to expel four people for it!
