Anyway, the Chinese contractor for some of Apple's manufacturing is located in Shanghai, and the CCP has made sure their shutdown has worked to keep some of the critical plants (like Tesla's gargantuan Shanghai plant) operating. They've been bunking the workforce in each plant, and made sure they're kept fed.

The current theory is that this whole covid episode may be an information gathering stress test for the CCP when they attack Taiwan.
