It is an interesting point that war, even nuclear, is the choice of leadership.
You might ask, “But who would make such a choice?” Who would risk getting shot for a flatscreen TV? The world is full of all kinds. Most are not too bright.
Our current leadership gives all the clues necessary as to their thinking, by how they have responded to their own people. Protestors locked indefinitely in solitary confinement. The unarmed shot dead with impunity. Razor wire up at a moments notice as the next riots are started. The list is endless.
These are the people stupid enough to push the button without even a thought they’ve never had.

Agree, and that’s why I think Putin will light a firecracker on May 9th (over Russian territory), to help the Neocons and the rest of the WW3 bunch understand just what the stakes are.
