Johns Hopkins Moore Center for the Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse has hired a former Old Dominion University professor who was put on leave after claiming that sexual attraction to children is not always immoral, and that he wants to destigmatize pedophiles by referring to them as “minor-attracted persons” (MAPs), instead.
“We are excited to share that Allyn Walker, PhD, will be joining the Moore Center as a postdoctoral fellow on May 25,” the Moore Center for the Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse announced on Thursday.

Pretty telling that someone advocating for immoral relations with minors ends up being hired into a position "helping" children overcome immoral relations with people just like her.

I’ve heard a couple cops speak on this subject and I have to grudgingly agree that someone who is attracted to kids but who does not act upon that attraction in any kind of criminal manner...has not committed a crime.
The remedy for this is to make sure that parents who act to protect their children from such threats do not face any legal penalties for having done so.

I agree; they have not committed a crime. To make it so is the creation of "thought crime," and we know where that leads. However, the cops, lawyers, judges and any reputable psychologists who are out there will also tell you that there is no "treatment" for pedophiles. At least not once they are somewhere between 18 and 21 years of age. After that, your sexual tastes are pretty much solidified for the rest of your life. A pedophile will always be a pedophile, the attraction and urges will always be there. And those urges for many are powerful and often irresistible.
That's why you have the six year old boy buried in the shallow grave in the woods.
The "doctor" who is promoting pedophilia as something other than it is, is just as much a monster as the twisted pedo who murders their young victims.
