With ongoing maintenance, these problems should be avoided.
I hope it’s not too hot in Texas at present, as we know high demand for electricity for air conditioning will cause even more problems if the grid is stressed.
Unfortunately, we’re having July weather in May.
We never, ever had power grid problems before. Not until the past couple of years.
I didn’t used to be a conspiracy theorist, but lately I suspect the stinking Democrats behind things like this. They have wanted to destroy our state for a long time. They want that Beto jerk in as governor.
With nuclear and gad powered electric generating plants we would not have these power failures.
We are in the 90’s now but nothing like July-September heat. During those months the AC units run all day and night. Sometimes the low temp for the day is 80-85 and very humid.
Add to that new neighborhoods are popping up all over the place adding more draw on the grid.
They are telling us to conserve now?
Can’t wait until August.
