I couldn’t figure out the point of it, or why they’d waste time on it with so many real problems to solve.

This is all meant for somebody’s consumption.
Who that is would be a matter of wild speculation, but I think this is just a show, and not a very good one at that.
Personally, I think this has to do with intel. They want to seed certain topics and listen to any chatter they can pickup deep in certain places.

I have heard the idea bounced around that they are not aliens but actually demons in disguise. But if I had to put money on it, I’d go with a combination of both - alien with a demonic nature.
Regardless, if “they” are real and here on earth, they are not here for our benefit or to help us, but rather they are here for their own purposes and benefit with their own agenda.
Best case scenario, we are like the native Americans when the Europeans discovered the Americas and we all know how that worked out for the natives. Worst case and most likely scenario IMHO is they are demonic in nature and laying the groundwork for the Great Deception. Either way, it’s not good.
Well, we pay them enough to put on a much better show.
I watched some of the hearing.
The testimony was very very well scipted to say a ton about the processses and zero about any real evidence yea or nay.
They say there will be a “classified” hearing later.
Maybe there will be leaks from it.
I listened to a few men ofering nothing whatsoever - but they were certainly enjoying themselves.
As I see it the more technology and the military develpes, here and in other countries, the more we’re going to see what’s unexplainable to most. UFO believers are easy to fool.
I say this because I know, from one who works in the military, with the highest security clearence, that people would b astounded at the very least of what the military can do. All he could say was technology and science has made all things possible.
Cuz he’s one of THEM......
There is pretty convincing evidence (both footage and sensor data) that something we cannot currently explain is operating within our atmosphere. Are they aliens ??? We don’t know what they are but we do know that current physics knowledge cannot explain the viewed and recorded capabilities of these phenomena which in some cases, far, far, far exceed anything we currently are capable of. There may be a perfectly logical explanation for these things but our scientific and physics knowledge are not advanced enough yet to understand.
Bottom line is we do not know everything there is to know. There are many mysteries in our world that we strive to explain.
When asked about the Malmstrom Air Base incident, they seemed dumb found as to never looking into it or even heard about it. That right there tells you all you need to know about this hearing. All smoke and mirrors.

That is why recent UFO sightings are not the key to understanding the UFO phenomenon.
