This is a modern war and those planes would live maybe 15 minutes over target, should they be lucky enough. Best to let artillery take care of the armor at a distance. Pilots of its counterpart, the SU-25, are terrified of flying over UA lines.
Moreover, A-10s were NOT credited with the Hwy of Death. The vehicles were mostly taken out by F-16s and other fighter-bombers using GBU-(31, 32, 38) bombs according to the USAF After Action report.
