i actually instructed my wife to start stocking up on pasta and some canned goods in case there is an authentic breakdown in the supply chain. I want to have enough until the smoke clears............

It’s not just truck drivers. Oil companies in my area pay great starting wages. But, they can’t find enough employees because the applicants can’t pass a drug test. I bumped into a guy last month who moved here (Texas) from out of state because of the booming job market. He was working at a local grocery store for minimum wage. He had oilfield experience, and I asked him why he didn’t apply at one of the many oilfield companies in the area. He replied that he couldn’t pass the drug test.
I guess the dope is more important than the job and feeding his family. And, this guy moved hundreds of miles to get here!
But, it's just weed, man. It's harmless. Right?

IF I own a trucking company-—or any type of delivery company-even a florist shop-—I cannot get adequate INSURANCE to cover such driver behavior.
EVEN IF I could afford such premiums-—I still would have a terrible risk of LIABILITY. WHY should I risk my ENTIRE LIFE’S INVESTMENT to allow such driver behavior?

He was 64 , no wife or family. Didn’t know he was at the end of his rope. Wish he’d have opened up to someone for help but too late now....

In west Nebraska, the Troopers post signs on east bound traffic on I-80 stating drug sniffing stops with dogs ahead and then they monitor the traffic dumping off the first exit which is usually only used by locals and farmers.
