When all parties to a defense pact combine forces against a single, supposedly poorer, less-equipped, & less trained, opponent
That's a lot of hogwash (I was going to say B.S. but, hogwash sounds less hostile).
When a poorer and less-equipped and less trained nation becomes hostile and invades a neighboring nation, or when it becomes a nation what wants to eliminate certain peoples from its population (like Hitler and like Muslims do with Christians), and when that nation uses banned weapons (like banned chemicals or biological weapons), then, that country has to be stopped. Doesn't matter the size of the country; what matters is the size of its aggression or the size of its unspeakable acts.
So, is Israel a country that deserves protections against its hostile neighbors, or should Israel just forget everything and surrender to the aggressor(s)? (Just an example, mind you).

You know the precise point I was making. This history is available everywhere.
Slide away, but I think I’ll skip this particular dance, thanx.
