He lived with his grandmother because his mother was an addict. Pretty sure he was on prescription drugs which a lot of mass shooters are on.
Does a normal person do the things he has done? He definitely had mental abberations! He was not normal at all. He shot his grandmother who spent all his life with him. Then he went into a school and killed 19 4th graders that he did not know. He was not normal, Joy!

The people that need to be questioned are his family, and they need to answer why this kid was not taken in for an evaluation and treatment, if that turns out to be the case.

You might well be right, but it doesn’t necessarily follow that just because his mother is an addict, that he’d be on prescription drugs. Don’t know if we’ll ever know.
Because of lots of reasons—perp not white and being odd in a ‘special way’, police appearing to be not all that valiant in going after the murderer—I think this story is likely to find its way into the memory hole.

Well, if he had mental issues I’m sure he didn’t have medical insurance to deal with them. I mean I have really good insurance but it still doesn’t cover mental health or dental. Large majority of people in Texas have no insurance at all or any resources available at schools or anything to deal with it
