Pope Francis urged a greater welcome for migrants Monday, appealing for a “a broader international awareness” regarding the phenomenon of migration.
We cannot forget “the millions of asylum seekers, refugees and displaced persons in other parts of the world, who desperately need to be welcomed, protected and loved,” the pontiff told participants in a meeting of the International Catholic Migration Commission.
“As a Church, we wish to serve everyone and to work diligently to build a future of peace. You have the opportunity to give a face to the Church’s charitable activity on their behalf!” the pope told them.
The Commission is “called to respond to global challenges and migratory emergencies with focused programs, always in communion with the local Churches,” Francis said, working especially for “a broader international awareness on issues involving migration.”
“In this way, it fosters respect for human rights and promotes human dignity in line with the Church’s social doctrine,” he said

Greater freedom and support for private property rights would go a great deal further than Pope Fran’s Sis.....
The current Pope is a communist stooge.

Given the Catholic churches involvement in bringing a lot of these immigrants to various countries including the United States maybe instead he should be opening that big treasury the Vatican has and start giving money to the people they have to pay for it

You expressed exactly what I have been thinking. I am all for to show them ways and means to improve their lives at their place of origin. But the problem is, once they get here many resist integration and assimilation and go right back to the same habits, religious or political what caused the problem in the first place. What made the US great some time ago was that the population acted as one and in unison, one country and one language. And now all that multi culturalism will tear this country apart. I hope I am wrong, but I believe the best of times are behind us, never to be seen again, sorry to say.
The Vatican needs to tear down their walls and allow all “migrants” to move in....
Time for the anti-Pope to walk the walk....
