I didn’t know handguns were even allowed in Canada. They must be heavily regulated to begin with. It will be interesting to see if a black market emerges if there isn’t one already.
They are permitted but with a lot of chicken shit laws. Handguns with a barrel length of less than 105 mm, about 4 1/8 inches, are completely prohibited, and . 25 and . 32 caliber handguns are prohibited. There goes your 4” Smith and Wessons.
