A lot of Democrats own guns here. Rich Baris said his polling shows it is different than the norm and appeals to lots of single issue voters, because of how personal it is.

That was exactly my feeling. If they had the votes he wouldn’t be saying it’s on the ballot this November as they would have got it done before the election.
So, he’s saying they’re proposing laws that give an automatic 10 years in prison to any felon in possession with a gun, prosecuting with the max sentence to anyone who is a straw purchaser, and automatic denial of bail to anyone arrested for a crime involving a firearm? I’m all for these gun violence prevention laws.
I’m not so thrilled with more gun control for law abiding citizens only.
