Why wasn’t any of the Okie monkeys carrying concealed guns? Surely somebody there should have been packing heat. There were a lot of people in the clinic. Damn, but that is why you should carry at all times becaushe our country is full of lunatics and feral savages🤔 and it is going to get worse the higher fuel goes and the more desperate people get.I carry all the time except in court.
Not sure about this particular hospital, but some have moved to metal detectors. Security theater is all it really is. At the ballpark, for a larger example, hundreds of people are bunched up outside as they make their way through the detectors. A gunman could have a field day with the dense crowd outside.
Not to mention the criminals know everyone coming out of the ballpark is unarmed after the game. It makes no logical sense to go anymore.
The hospital and all of its associated clinics/physician office buildings are Gun-Free Zones (GFZ). They are all posted on all entrances. Another poster mentioned scanners/magnetometers at entries and I’m unsure of that as it’s been a few years since I’ve been in one of those buildings.
BTW, this happened in the building where my wife’s cousin was scheduled for an outpatient surgery tomorrow which has now been canceled.
