Arizona Senate candidate, Blake Masters, is under increased scrutiny since former President Donald Trump endorsed him last week in the GOP primary.
The increased scrutiny has led to the venture capitalist’s old interviews being resurfaced online and controversial past comments becoming the focus of attack ads.
News outlet Heartland Signal, which describes itself as a “newly launched regional digital newsroom anchored to the progressive radio station WCPT 820AM in Chicago,” resurfaced comments from April in which Masters blames “Black people” for gun violence in the U.S.
“We do have a gun violence problem in this country, and it’s gang violence,” Masters tells a local Arizona radio program in the clip.

“What they mean by gun control is disarming you and me. I’m sure occasionally a ghost gun—a homemade firearm—is used in crime, but it’s pretty rare…usually, it’s just a black-market handgun,” Masters continues while speaking on The Jeff Oravits Show on April 11th.
“What they do when they ban things like ghost guns, when they ban things like pistol braces, which they’re trying to do, that’s all about disarming law-abiding people,” he adds.
Trump endorsed Masters last week calling him “a great modern-day thinker” who “knows that the ‘Crime of the Century’ took place, he will expose it and also, never let it happen again.” Masters has repeated Trump’s false allegations that the 2020 presidential election was stolen.
Masters’s Republican opponent, Jim Lamon, released an attack ad over the weekend suggesting Masters is anti-semitic.

Nice to hear someone provide FACTS and speak the truth. No one wants to admit the black on black carnage is at epic levels and occurs every day and the mass shootings with an AR15 are few and far in between.
52% of all murders are committed by blacks yet they make up only 14% of the US population.
Take out black females, black males under 13 and over 65, you have about 5% of the US poplation doing nearly 50% of the murders.

According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics and Census Bureau, a black male is 5.25 times more likely than a white male to commit an interracial violent crime. (But we’re the ones who are allegedly racist white supremacists?) (You have to click on the Start menu of your laptop to access your calculator, and divide one site’s statistics by the other site’s statistics, but this isn’t too hard for an Ivy League grad at MSNBC, is it?)
There are roughly 100 people killed in mass shootings every year. There are roughly 100 people murdered with all types of “long guns” (rifles and shotguns) every year, and the AK-47 and AR-15 represent a fraction of these.
However, there are roughly 2700 gang-related homicides every year. The overwhelming majority of these involve young black males and handguns. These never make the “national news” because MSNBC / CNN / MSN etc. decide these events are not “national news.” These, according to the propaganda bureaus, are “local news.” But every time a white guy with an AR-15 so much as hiccups, we hear about it 24/7 on “national news.”
Given that 1/2 of big city murders go unsolved [eg Chicago], the black on black murder rate is far higher than the stats published by the “hide the real data” government.
Politicians can’t just say what’s true.
Chicago leads the country in killings and it’s almost all black people.
But that goes against the narrative.
So he has to be attacked.

Gangs do the shooting/killing. Black folks are the victims.
1) Their level of legal gun ownership is low....ask anyone who owns a gun, it is fairly expensive proposition.
2) Dem pols have hamstrung the cops so there is little policing in these areas.
Of course if one looks at the stats, blacks commit far more murders per capita than whites......and most of these shootings are in urban areas run by dems.
All we have to do is take down the gun free zones signs and replace them with gun safe zone signs. You can feel safe because there are safe guns around.
What part of his statements are false? You can’t solve a problem if you can’t face the truth.

We have a chance to flip this Senate seat, a good chance. We can’t afford any stupidity.
