All a sports team or a corporation has to do to stifle the Left's pressure tactics is issue a simple statement saying, "We play football (or make hammers or manufacture cars, etc.). We don't do politics." Period. End of Story. More than 90 percent of Americans would approve of such a statement, and life would go on.
If the Left starts screaming like banshees, just say, "Please refer to our statement."
It's only the media that makes the Left seem like some overwhelming force. Don't let them do it.
