Russian President Vladimir Putin said same-sex marriage "will not happen" as long as he's in the Kremlin.
MOSCOW - President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday Russia would not legalize gay marriage as long as he was in the Kremlin.
He made clear he would not allow the traditional notion of mother and father to be subverted by what he called “parent number 1” and “parent number 2.”
“As far as ‘parent number 1’ and ‘parent number 2’ goes, I’ve already spoken publicly about this and I’ll repeat it again: As long as I’m president this will not happen. There will be dad and mum,” Putin said.

Doesn’t mean Russia should invade Ukraine, which btw has a straight married president.
Not that the west ever liked Putin but the hate really went up a few notches after he banned gay parades a few years ago.
If/when Victoria Nuland manages to overthrow Putin and install a pro-western stooge I can guarantee that they will be pushing as much gay stuff as possible just to humiliate Russians.
