Because Brooks got up in front of a Trump rally and told them they needed to "move past" the 2020 election.

Brooks apparently was okay with the election being stolen and thus he does not deserve Trump's support or the support of any patriot.

Brooks was being sued over Jan 6, wasn’t he? Maybe he was trying to cover his behind???

Jan 6 has been a big mess for so many. Sure wish Trump hadn’t urged people to come to DC that day. It was so foreseeable that Trump supporters would be at risk, in a Dem-run city with a history of anti-Trump violence. Besides, the planned debate in Congress over voting controversies deserved to get the attention - instead it was cancelled because of the riot.

Trump is not a careful, strategic man. Too much thoughtlessness and even recklessness.

"Brooks apparently was okay with the election being stolen and thus he does not deserve Trump's support or the support of any patriot."

Incorrect. Mo Brooks was one of the few politicians to publicly support Trump in the aftermath of the 2020 election. Mo Brooks spoke publicly about the steal in December, 2020. I remember listening to that rally in my car that day.

Mo also spoke at the Jan 6 rally. Later Mo had to defend a lawsuit brought by democrats claiming he was responsible for inciting the Jan 6 trespassing debacle.

More recently Mo has battled with the MSM in interviews about the 2020 election and how it was stolen. One recent one was just a few days ago on Fox.

From Fox - "During an appearance on "Fox News Sunday" last week, Rep. Mo Brooks made waves after he tussled with guest host Sandra Smith over the 2020 election results, repeating unsubstantiated allegations of voter fraud that have become a rallying cry for the conservative base over the past two years."

So he is still calling out the fraud. Who else in Congress is doing that?

Here is a photo of Mo speaking at the Jan 6 event.

It would be one thing if there were actions underway related to all the talk about 2020 fraud. But at this point, it's just talk. The AZ Cyber Audit is long forgotten. Lindell's cyber symposium was a joke. The GA election workers Trump talked about, and who Kanye went after, have since been paid off and received a retraction from OAN. The latest flavor of the month hasn't revealed a single mule or non-profit payment trail.

Like I said - if all the fraud talk was leading to actionable measures, it would be one thing. But if it's all just talk, what purpose does it serve other than to depress turnout? Why not focus on 2024 in which you have the weakest incumbent in our lifetimes, out of control inflation and a war involving Russia playing out.

Makes no sense to me. Remember how Trump said 5M illegal votes happened in 2016? Where did that go?

Sorry if saying the emperor is naked rubs people the wrong way.
