I like DeSantis but I don’t think he has the level of business/economic experience Trump has or his negotiating prowess. The next president will have a huge domestic and international mess on his hands. Its going to take those types of skills/chops to lead us out of Biden’s mess. JMHO
You’re right - Trump went to Wharton AND he ran a successful business.
DeSantis is a good man and pray Trump will pick DeSantis as his VP... but for ‘24 it’s got to be Trump.
Trump’s one of the few people in the country who’ll be able to get us free and safe from the financial hurricane that’s coming.
I personally want someone who is non-politically correct, angry, and has an axe to grind with all the right people.
Trump fits that bill.
I think DeSantis might make a very good president some day. But I haven’t heard a word indicating that he’s thinking of running in 2024.
DeSantis has done Florida well economically. I like DeSantis and will vote for him. Trump was a business owner but made terrible choices for people around him, some forced, some not forced.
Trump should just support our country in other ways with all the legal issues ongoing with AG NY, suppose to give deposition in next couple of weeks in NY, who knows if any charges will come from Jan 6th hearings, DOJ, etc. In other words, he is damaged goods as a Presidential candidate in my opinion.
I think his ego is going to hurt our party if he goes up against DeSantis. We had 4 years of investigations, accusations, impeachments, our party even trying to take him down along with Dems and the media
non-stop. I want to try and have a decent 4 year Republican Presidency going forward.
DeSantis has plenty of other skills Trump doesn’t with a whole lot less baggage. People who would never vote for Trump will give DeSantis a look.
