Second, set aside or look past all the media hype you've obviously bought into. Those "crazy guns" as you so in-eloquently put it are responsible for a very small fraction of the violence in this country. If you really wanted to get the most bang for your buck making people safe, those "crazy guns" would be well down on the list. It is a terribly inefficient use of resources to pursue.
Third, if your concern is that those "crazy guns" might be very effective then great, I definitely want one or two. Why wouldn't I want the best, most effective tools to defend myself and my family? Who are you, or who is anyone else, to say what is "good enough" for me to use to defend myself and my family? Not your place. If you make them "harder to buy" it is definitely going to infringe on someone's rights, and it will almost certainly disproportionately impact certain demographics more than others. I'm sure Mr. Burrow doesn't want to be seen as racist, or homophobic, or unfair in impacting people's ability to protect themselves...
As usual Free Republic gnash teeth and make big mad proclamations about being done with the NFL, but will be right back here on opening day to ‘get our minds off politics ‘ by supporting NFL.
